Scholarship Support

Donations to the Terri Ann Lowenthal Kids to Skate Scholarship Terri Ann Lowenthal (bio) served as Skating Director at Fort Dupont Ice Arena from December 2001 – June 2007, helping to organize, manage, and expand FDIA’s signature Kids On Ice (KOI) program. This scholarship will help skaters who may not otherwise be able to attend our summer camps. Donations to the Scholarship Fund can be made via check or via our online system. Please be sure to direct your donation to the scholarship fund!

Equipment

The Kids on Ice® classes provide figure skating, ice hockey, and speed skating equipment to participants free of charge. Most of this equipment is donated by other skaters in the area. We are always in need of gently used, mid/intermediate level figure, hockey and speed skating equipment in good condition. No hockey jerseys, please.

  • To donate equipment drop it off at Fort Dupont Ice Arena at your convenience. To arrange a pickup of large quantities of equipment, email us at ksieck@fdia.org.

Event Tickets/Auction Items

Please contact Katie Sieck, Development Manager, about the donation of sporting/event tickets or items for auction.
You can learn more about tix4cause, an online service that targets the numerous event tickets and experiences across the nation that remain unused and go to waste, and donates proceeds from their sale to the seller's chosen cause by visiting our Tix4Cause page, or the Tix4Cause page here.

Wish List

In addition to always welcoming cash and equipment donations, there are often specific items that we are in need of. We greatly appreciate donations of these items and can work with you to arrange pick up of the item, if necessary.
By purchasing through our Dynamic Wishlist, you can select to have items delivered directly to the rink. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your support.
